MR. KNOBL COMMENTS ON OUR SCHOOL GRADE
Mr. Knobl recently sent the following email to our faculty and staff.

Dear Faculty & Staff,

We received our school grade this morning. We earned enough points to have a C, but due to the lowest quartile reading percentage being under 50% for two years in a row, we were reduced to a D. Although I am very disappointed with this news, I would like everyone to know that we did fairly well in some areas. One of the keys for next year will be departments collaborating and planning together in the tested areas and focusing on our lowest quartile in order to move our school. I am confident that our school grade should improve with our smaller, focused student body (1250-1300 students) who will have tremendous school spirit and school pride, our terrific teachers and staff, and the changing school grade formula that should benefit GHS in future years.

Enjoy your summer! We are working hard and planning for your return in mid-August.

Thank you.
Mr. Knobl
