Comments: Wife Dorothy and I attended the reunion in May and had a great time. Our class also had mini-reunions in 2005 and 2006 at Lucy's home in NPR. For some of you who don't remember me, I was Phil Capdevielle's brother-in-law. I have a list, with addresses, of our class except for a few we can't find. If you know the whereabout of Virginia Smith, Pat Perry or Phil Bruce, I would like to make contact. We were a small school with small classes back in 1948 but Gulf Hi made it possible for me to successfully compete with the rest of the world. It was a wonderful time to be a teenager and I cherish those fond memories.

Comments: Good to see this page and some old familiar names. I taught for 32 years in Orlando, retired, moved to Clermont, and went back to work as Principal of a Christian school for a couple of years. Am now retired a second time. Marg and I had 4 boys and now have 8 grands. Life has been very good. I still get to the Elfers Oldtimers Reunion most years in October and see some of the old gang. The problem is "we" are now the oldtimers. Sure hope some of us 1959 grads are around for our "50th" in 2009.

Comments: Informed about this site by my cousin Arthur. Happy to have found it. Nice to see all the familiar names from long ago. Left New Port Richey for college in 1959. Spent 2 years at the University of Florida and then went to work in the aerospace industry in West Palm Beach. Spent 4 years with Pratt & Whitney Aircraft, got married, moved to Seattle, Washington. After spending 4 years working for Boeing and attending the University of Washington at night, took leave of absence and returned to University of Florida. Received BSME in 1970. Spent 16 years with Orlando Utilities Commission and 12 years with Blue Diamond Coal Company, Knoxville, TN. Currently self employed with Genesis Consulting Company; Energy Procurement, Sales & Transportation with a specialty in coal. Wife: Chris & Son: Sean, who will graduate in December 2002 in Computer Science from the University of Georgia. That's my life history. Would love to hear from some of you guys.

Comments: After 35 years, I sold the operating assets of Casson Engineering Company and retired. I married Lauzanne Sims on Christas day 1955. We have one son, Leonard. Leonard married Susan Standard of Pittsburg and they have a son, Andrew (1991) and a daughter, Emily (1995). Leonard is an Associate Professor at the University of Pittsburgh in the Civil/Environmental Department.

Comments: Howdy, Graduated 1959, joined army with Mike Beijar in April of 1960. He and I both went to Korea together 61-62. I got out of military 1963, worked in a factory for one year, then went to work for Southern Bell, in Columbus, Georgia April 1964, Married Jackie Sprouse from Jasper, Alabama, July 11,1964. Transfered to Dallas, Texas September 1968, with Southwestern Bell and retired Feb. 26,1998. Now I do what I want to do. We have two sons Daniel and Michael. Daniel was born 1966 and died in a construction accident in 1991. Michael was born in 1972, graduated from Texas A&M university, 1997. My hobby is the Confederate Air Force.
