Comments: HELP... Can we make this years reunion just a tad more interesting??? I would be willing to work with anyone who can help do some local leg work in getting a Friday afternoon or Saturday morning Ft Lauderdale style golf tournament together (Sep 9 or 10). The beauty of the Ft Lauderdale is you don’t have to be a great golfer! It’s a fun format, best ball, for anyone interested. Unfortunately, I’m stuck in the South Atlanta area and can’t do the leg work of finding a course, scheduling and some of the physical logistics. I can do email, organization and coordinating for a Gulf High ‘80’s group though. Let me know if anyone is interested in working with me on this?

Comments: I have often told the story about my switching from a photography major to an engineering major at the University of South Florida. That was my freshman year (1980). I would like to share a small portion of that story with my former classmates.
The forces behind such a radical change were many, but it was Mr. Richard P. Holley who was the final influence to that change. http://www.itsgames.com/Operators/news/InMemoriam.htm Holley challenged me, inspired me, drove me, and helped me. I owe a debt of gratitude to a man that I thanked, only once (around 1983 or 84), for giving me a such wonderful gifts.
His gifts to me were confidence, ability, knowledge, persistence, and an ego (an ego with humility). He will always be one of my most respected heroes. One of my greatest hopes is to return to the community the gifts which he passed to me...Thank you Mr. Holley.

Comments: to the class of 1980 ,Michael Vaporis is alive and still rockin, i'd like to thank all of my friends for their prayers and well wishes! i have completed my last surgery 01/10/2000, and would not have made it without your thoughts, your help(financially and words of encouragement) also, i am now in the class of single parents after my wife left me due to my illness in 1997 but, i do have custody of my oldest daughter, vanessa, who helps me out a lot. i'm still singing and writing music whenever my pain level permits. i miss you all and love you all.
