Comments: Hello to all that I was a friend to during our time at Gulf and those that I have met since those eventful days. An update on "me." I only have one year (two semesters) remaining until I graduate from Stetson University College of Law, then it's on to face the Florida Bar.
As yet, I am still both single and have yet to even remotely consider marriage again. Kris I envy you and I wish you and your "new" family nothing but the best for a prosperous and positive life.
If you guys met me now, you'd never recognize me. I've been letting my hair "down" (literally) since my 40th birthday and it's now near the middle of my back. What has started out as a "turning point" in life has (and will be) used to benefit "Locks for Love" ... I'm still basically the "same person" you all knew in school but my eyes and views have most definitely changed over the past 10 years (and I feel so much the better for it),
Always feel free to write me. I enjoy hearing from former clasmates ... even if I did not regularly socialize with you.

Comments: I haven't been to this site in a long time. In the last 2 years I have changed jobs and moved. I am now in NPR and working at a fish house in Tarpon (Been there over a year and a half.) Works out well considering my husband is a commercial fisherman and the Mate on two local Charter Boats.
If anyone is in contact with Denise Eichberger, let her now that I got the post on the gulfalumni site but I am unable to reply to it.
Still no Total Sound people on the site (MINUS Laura-who I still talk to). Oh well.... (My nephew was in Total Sound class of 2002)

Comments: A quick update for everyone...
Believe it or not, I got married for the first time, on August 3rd, 2007. I may be robbing the cradle, since Charles is 7 years younger than I am, but at 40, I know what I want. It took a long time, but God's plans may be different than our own.
Charles is 33, works for Pepsi, and is a native Floridian. He has no children, and I'm honored that he accepts Grace (my 7 year old) as his own. We also just added an Old English Sheepdog to the family (I need to have my head examined). And who knows what might happen in the future...
As for the ceremony, I was thrilled to have Kim (McMullen) Rossman as my matron of honor. Some friendships were made to last, even when (some) men try to mess them up! And Grace was the flower girl, of course!

I have not been here since the start of the year..it was nice to see all the updates and some familiar names...All is well here in the mountains. Florida was way to pricey for us...the insurance alone was killer!!
Mike, as for the "American Dream", we have purchased a home up here..and are loving it. It is not without it's struggles, but it is good to be back here!!
Mindy..one word for you...AMEN!!!! Will continue to lift you up. Know that you have done the right thing. You are a strong woman....I know we have talked on e-mail, but I just wanted to say it again...I am so proud of you!!!

Comments: Hello class of 1985. Just wanted to check and see how everyone is doing. This past year has brought alot of change and hard decisions. But all for the better. I am so close to being single again after leaving an abusive relationship of way, way, way, too long. All I can say is I feel so good about my decision for me and my two incredible boys. There is something about turning 40 and knowing life can be so much better. I have a strong faith in God and know He restores all that has been stolen. I look forward to each day with anticipation to see where life leads me. It is so cool to taste what freedom is like when you have been held captive for so long. Comments: Hello all, I recently saw Steve Rodopoulos which brought me back to
this site and after reviewing some of the later posts, I realized I never gave a
final update regarding the scholarship. The Gulf High Class of 1985 Reunion
Scholarship amounted to $1000 which was awarded to Terry Horan, a 2006 graduate.
I would like to thank everyone who contributed and helped in the awarding of the
scholarship and our best wishes go out to Terry Horan. You have already made us
proud.
That said, a quick recap since the reunion. For those who were not there, Kim
and I had a baby girl on Christmas eve of 2004, her name is Lauren. She is now
26 months old and is as stubborn as her Mom. Joseph is 5, in pre school and
never stops talking, again, just like his Mom. I took a new job in July of 2006
which moved us from our home in Cincinnati to the beautiful suburbs of Northern
Atlanta. We still have a home for sale in Cincinnati... anyone relocating? We
are all happy and healthy, with the exception of my allergies, just a whole new
set of allergens to get accustom to. New e-mail addresses:

Comments: Hello everyone. I smiled through reading all of your updates. Seems like a pretty happy group.
I am married 12 years to a teacher who loves me for reasons I'm not clear on. If she ever wakes up, I'll update this site with revised marriage status.
We have sons Tag (10) and Clennan (6) whom we love dearly, but are the curse my mother put on me for misbehaving in my high school years (I blame most of you).
I have a job I enjoy in Portland, OR - a city and state that has become our home over the past 8 years. We ski, do Cub Scouts and Tae Kwon Do. I work, coach youth football and make furniture my wife lovingly agrees is "as good as anything we can buy in the store." Again, if she ever wakes up...
I remain in close contact with Jim Becker (work with him) and Bob Karnick. They are both doing well, with 4 boys, one wife and only one divorce between them. No, they did not divorce one another.

Summer. I'm not sure who has any either. Sorry you weren't able to get a home here in FL. but the dynamics of
home owning have changed so drastically over the past 10 years that many are not able to afford the "American

So glad to hear that school and life are both treating you well. It looks like I will be heading back to TN if
all goes well. We had tried to purchjase a home here in Pasco, but the insurance and taxes kept us out of it. I believe

Comments: Hello to everyone out there! It seems like it was 10 years ago but right about this time there
were some of us who were fortunate to attend the 20th reunion. It was great to see everyone and for those whom I
call friend............ you are certainly missed! I have just completed my first year of Law School at Stetson
University College of Law and although it was definitely trying for me......... it has so been worth it
(Thanks to Janet Jesse for support). I will be heading out to San Francisco at the end of next week (7/28) for a
few days and I know I'm going to have a blast out there. I had looked into transferring to UC Berkeley Boalt Hall
Law School but they do not offer a part time program.......... too bad so sad! Well I hope to hear from everyone
and hopefully this will get the chat page started once again........... All the best to everyone!
