it was getting close to the reunion and all and I should start looking. I'm glad to hear and see everyone is

As for me, I am still working at Carrabba's Italian Grill. I do just about everything there and just got
offered a computer tech position. I unfortunetly couldn't accept it because of my dog (I would be traveling a lot). I
went to cosmotology school after my first year of college, and decided to go back to college last year. I'm not
quite sure which field I will be studying yet, I am torn. Well it was good reading about everyone and all
the good memories we all shared. I hope to keep in touch and everyone does the same (especially now that I know

I got married in August 2003, no kids yet but probably in another two years or so. I am the Meeting & Event Manager for an Orthopaedic Company here in Gainesville (Exactech). I actually ran into Anna Tietz in DC last March at a meeting. I have had some wonderful opportunities and get to travel. school March 30th, it'll be about 3 months, then off to Memphis, TN to work at their Air Traffic

here's the updates on me... I have been working in the insurance
industry for the past 2 years and really enjoy it. I am the manager of

Comments: Wow, every year flies by faster than the last. I
noticed that it has been six months since I last posted and thought I
would leave another small update. I am still working at Seven Oaks
Elementary in Wesley Chapel. However, I am also working for Saint Leo
University coaching cheerleading, it is the best! The cheerleading
squad just transitioned from the recreation department to athletics;
which is a big step in the world of cheerleading, so needless to say I
have had my work cut out for me this year.
I am happy once again, to see that everyone that has posted is still
doing so well. It was very nice hearing from and catching of with those
of you that contacted me via email after my last post.

Comments: What's goin' on? Michelle is the one that always
leaves messages on this so I thought I would
finally leave one. As you know Michelle and I finally mariied and now
we live in a big house that we don't know what to
do with. We just got a dog not to long ago (Norweigan Elkhound) named
after the greatest coach of all time, "Bowden".
Michelle's still designing clothes for the Limited Too and I myself
have left the radio industry for good and now I sell new build
homes (not realestate). But I still am working on music. I just got
one of my songs put into a documentary called After
Shock, The Movie (www.aftershockthemovie.com). My name is actually in
the credits and the movie itself has been shown
in theatres from the east coast to the west coast. I am currently
working on sveral projects that I plan on getting
to a contact I have at Arista Records, so that's exciting. You can

Michelle and I have no plans to have any babies because as you know I
always have been and still am a
big kid... I mean could I have gotten my Xbox 360 if I had a baby to
pay for? I hate Ohio State University
with a passion because there's no other team up here so everyone jumps
on that bandwagon. That's the one
thing I miss about Florida is the sports diversity. GO: FSU, Bucs,
Magic, and Stanley Cup Champs the Lightning. And GO GULF

picked up and moved from Holiday to Gainesville. I was
offered an amazing job working in the corporate office of a video game
company based here. I couldn't ask for a better company

Its been a while since I have visited the alumni site. I guess just as
everyone else has...i should update where I am. I live
in Maine and just got married in June. Well, I met the man of my
dreams....Duncan. I am no longer working or
required at this time to continue college, but I will say I am busy.
We took the month of July off to vacation at the
Hamptons. It was a blast. There is more action going on there than in
Hollywood. Duncan is third generation in the
family business of growing and harvesting blueberries. We have a 50
person staff that manages the fields
though. I do not know if kids will be in our plans as Duncan is a bit
older than me. Actually in May was his
66th birthday...and no I did not marry for money. I hope all is well
and any of you out there that will be visiting

and I moved to Deltona, FL (half way between Orlando and Daytona Beach)
in January. We bought a house and love the freedom but
hate when things break (no maintenance man to call...) Michael works
for a company in dowtown Orlando and I am still a case
manager for mentally ill adults but now for a company based in Daytona.
Fortunately, my office is only 2 miles from the house! I'm
going back to school in January for a master's in Marriage and Family
Therapy. After I graduate, we'll discuss kids but for
now we like the freedom and can't bear the responsibilty. I hope that

married to a wonderful man. We have no kids
and not in a huge hurry. Right now we have Jewel (pug) and Demon (cat)
and that's enough! We just got back from
Trinidad/Tobago yesterday from a family reunion. My husband is
originally from Trinidad so that was the first time
I've ever been there and more than likely that last time we'll go
there. I started back at school just to put another
thing on my plate but basically take a lot of computer classes. I'm
still employed for the state of Florida in law
enforcement and love it. I'm the D.A.V.I.D. Administrator for over
35,000 users for a system that can pull up drivers
license photos, information about DL's, O.S.I. information, and JANUS
information. Being the admin. for all those users,
sure keeps me busy along with traveling around the state for work.
Hope all is well, can you believe that we've been out of school so long
and pretty soon we'll be planning for our reunion...where does time go??

post lately. It's exciting to see where
everyone is. Obviously Mark and I are still in Columbus. We just
celebrated 1 year and bought our first house. I finally
got my promotion to Assistant Designer of sweaters, skirts, and shirts
with Limited Too, so hopefully by next
summer you can see my designs in the store. Mark is in the middle of
jobs, and trying to figure out what he wants
to do for now. He's still working on making several cd's, if anyone

everyone! Well I have been married for over six years
to Chris Hatcher, who I truly love! We are both Catastrophe Insurance
Adjusters and travel all over the US. Our home base
is of course NPR, who would of thought...No kids yet because we travel
so much. I'm on a little break right now because I
was working hurricane claims in Orlando for 9 months. I still keep in
close contact with Melissa Huston, who's doing great. Unfortunately,
Janelle Dieters and I don't talk much, but I here she's doing great.
She married Eli Soman. Chris and I still see Tommy Riley,
who's still pimpin' it. Actually, he has a really sweet long term
girlfriend right now. Greg VanOver lives in Orlando and I
still hear from Danny Barrus and blah, blah, blah... you all know I can

surprising to here Stefano say he had a crush on a girl in high school.

we've all been pretty busy doing the grown-up
thing, as weird as that sounds. as for me, i've been spending my days
as a stay-at-home mom chasing around our now
one year old, Chloe and our equally energetic six year old, Gabryelle.
they are the most beautiful and amazing kids
in the world, even when they are driving me insane. my husband just
took a job in largo, so we'll be moving to clearwater
in the next couple of weeks. and i've finally decided that i want to be
a labor and delivery nurse when i grow up. i plan
to go back to school when Chloe is three or so. other than that things
are going great for us, hope the same is true for everyone else.

Comments: When we graduated we used some of our class money (I
am sure you all remember those car washes!) to
purchase a service through Keep In Touch. We filled out paperwork at
our graduation practice that included address etc...The
service was explained as providing a questionnaire the first year and
then a newsletter the following. Keep In Touch
was supposed to keep up with this for 5 years and then be able to
provide home addresses (tracked thru USPS) when it
came time to plan a reunion. Even though we are a few years from the
reunion, I am concerned with Keep In Touch not
following through with the contract. I am only aware of 1 person (Katie
MacNeil) ever receiving a newsletter. So that
brings me to why I am posting...I have gone rounds with this company
the last few months and they have not been able to
provide a # of how many students they were able to reach, how many
responded, or even how many they have on file. If you
guys can post on here or send me an email - I need to know if the money
we paid was properly used. If not, we will get
this money refunded to the school and use the money to cut down costs
of our reunion. Let me know...hope everyone is doing well!

own world. It is amazing the
flood of memories some of the messages brought back. Matt, I don't know

your message surprised me the most. I still picture you in that
burgundy long sleeve shirt with you

I jam with my husband and
his brother. We are starting to pull something together. We are
currently working on a demo and hope to start playing some shows.
My life is my daughter, who is just about 4 and I teach third grade.

relocated to Memphis for a job opportunity
with Accredo Health. I am a process engineer in the IT dept. for
Pharmacy. I was laid off from Eckerd in
January due to the company sale -- very crazy -- I started with them
during the summer before our 11th grade year and
eventually worked my way into the Pharmacy Administration department at
corporate where I was working with pharmacy system
development. My husband Thomas & I moved out here to Memphis with
our 7-month-old baby boy - Gage. Things are
good...couldn't ask for more right now. Except maybe to still have

Comments: Over the years I messed up while messing around . . .
then I came around while traveling around, and found
a place to stick around. Still in college, aquiring knowledge. No wife
or kids, or stuff like that. Keeping it clean, no
longer mean. Still wierd as heck, but hey, that`s me! Got religious,
got lots milk. Ran a shop that went flippidy-flop,
and while in strife, became pro-life. It`s hard to remember that this
December I graduate and come home for a while. But what-da-ya-know,
as soon as I`m home I`ll go TO OHIO (I hope) in unclassy style.
Anthropology/Archeology . . . that`s what I study, without
any buddys. Taking that major to Ohio to the cool Catholic school,
where the girls up there rule and the priests ain`t
no fools. That`s all I have planned and that`s all I`ve done. It
doesn`t sound like much, but it`s been loads of
fun. Eat lots of pizza. Stay away from pork. In case you didn`t know,

heck...things are going great. My husband and I just moved
into our own home with our pug, Jewel, and our cat, Demon. I still

ever thought that, never in my future would I have dreamed that!
School is going and I do that for "fun". Hopefully we'll

Comments: I wish I could say that I am totally comfortable
posting anything on this page, much less
a life update on someone who felt that High School was (and accurately,
it WAS) a strange and twisted time. But
then again, you don't get everything you want in life all the time and
I was fortunate enough to learn that
the hard way. So then...
Weird times. There are many names here that I remember and many more
that I don't. It's proof of the
subtle effects of time on the memories of adolescence; you think you're
fairly grown up in High School, you
THINK you have it under control, but then again... no. I'm most
surprised to see a post from my
stepbrother, Kevin Leigh. Surprised, I suppose, because we've heard
very little from him since his
father (my stepfather and a damn good man) died on May 23rd, 2001.
Which is a shame, because, well... we were
brothers. Stepbrothers, albeit, but still. Kevin, enough playing
ninja; get in contact with me, geezer, and
get on the ball here.
Before this rambling post gets out of control, one last comment: Until
a week ago, I was oblivious that this
page existed and thus the news of Kim Gargano's death came as a
complete surprise. Now, some of you may
remember that Kim and I were less than amicable in High School, which
is true, but is not the point. The
point is that the news of her death first produced shock, then a sense
of loss, sadness and grief. Let me
clarify: I don't care if Kim hated my guts and would have put me in a
meat grinder - she was bar-none
a one-of-a-kind gal who impacted the lives of everyone around her. The
Alumni, and perhaps the world is
worse off without her... there are too few bright and shining stars
that truly light up lives like she did. Of
course, the Old Matt Blasi would have said this with a sarcastic sneer;
not me. The Matt Blasi of Now knows
better and has grown up a lot, survived the Grind so far, and speaks
from the heart.
All right, that's enough rambling then. Don't worry because I don't
bite anymore. So, let's wrap
it up and consider this post in a salute to my stepbrother, a
reevaluation of my Alumni
status, and most importantly in memory of Kim.

I graduated from the University of Florida with a degree in Sport
Management. I worked with the women's
basketball team there for 4 years as the team manager/practice player.
Through a connection with one of the men's
team's coaches I got and assistant coaching position with the women's
basketball team at NYU. So I am now back living
where I grew up and enjoying it.
I do miss many things about FL but that is why I try and visit as much
as possible
(beach). I am glad to hear most are doing well, although I am not sure
many people would be posting
horror stories on here. I would love to here from any and all of you.

Comments: HI Guys!! Wow I can't believe how many of us are
married with kids. I thought I was
the only one "to young to get married" LOL. It will be 5 years for Eric
and I in May. After graduation
I started working for Equant Integration, it's a company that provides
global data and IP network and integration
services for multinational businesses. During that time I also went to
beauty school and got my manicurist
license. Didn't really put it to use though, the company I was working
for was to good to leave. In aug. 2001
our beautiful son Cooper Brayden Vick was born. Then in May of 2002 we
moved to NJ and started our own buisness,
A/C and Heating. It is going awsome. It feels so good to be back in
Jersey where we actually get four seasons
instead of one long year of inferno style heat. We still own a house in
Holiday though. We are going to sell
it though, to much of a hassel having renters. So if your interested

5 years. I have changed a lot since high school and I'm sure a lot of

many people have babies, or marriages and some are finished with school
and in their careers. I, on the
other hand haven't accomplished any of those. I'm still attending USF
and working on a Business Management
Degree and a Physical Education Degree. I have one year left, making it

I've somehow managed to make it through an A.A. degree,
