Students whose interests are directed toward technology-related or pre-professional studies are invited to join the Institute of Technical Sciences. It is our mission to generate an environment that facilitates the development of critical thinkers and cooperative problem solvers who are equipped to function effectively in a global society. The Institute will afford participants the opportunity to explore careers of interest to them through shadowing and mentoring programs, field studies and guest speakers. During the 1999-2000 term, I. T. S. participants will develop a project whose theme is space exploration.
