 Band Trip to WashingtonGULF HIGH SCHOOL, Apr. 23, 2006. -- Members of the Gulf High Buccaneer Band returned to New Port Richey today after spending four days touring Washington, D. C. Mr. Rutherford reports that the students had a great time and he was proud of how they behaved. In an email he wrote, "I think they learned a great deal from our tour guides and bus drivers and I know this is a trip they will never forget."The band participated in the Dixie Classic Music Festival in Woodbridge, Virginia, Saturday afternoon. The concert band earned an overall 'Excellent' rating, and the Color Guard received the top rating of 'Superior.'
