CAPA members meet with teachers

GULF HIGH SCHOOL, Oct. 16, 2006.-- Members of Gulf High's CAPA team met with teachers in the various learning communities this morning. CAPA, which stands for Career and Academic Partners in Action, is a school-based learning community advisory committee of business people and educators which promotes the infusion of authentic career related experiences in all discipline areas through a range of activities where students and employers interact directly on the school campus or in the workplace. The left photo shows teachers in the ITS learning community meeting in the new Career Resource Center; in the right photo is a member our CAPA team, Bipin Parikh, who is an assistant county administrator for Pasco County.
