 Coach Feldman returns GULF HIGH SCHOOL, Oct. 26, 2006. -- Gulf social studies teacher and head basketball coach Steve Feldman returned to school today after an extended absence. He was out for the first quarter because of some health problems that were difficult to diagnose. Mr. Feldman said he expects to coach boys' basketball again this year. Interesting fact: At a meeting of former Gulf athletes held in June, a player from the early 1960s who has followed Gulf sports closely over the years said he believes Feldman is probably the best basketball coach Gulf has ever had. |
