Mrs. DeCubellis turns 75

GULF HIGH SCHOOL, Oct. 16, 2006. -- Lucy DeCubellis, who is Mr. Imerson's secretary, was honored on her 75th birthday at a faculty meeting today. Mr. Imerson presented her with a corsage, and the faculty sang happy birthday and enjoyed her birthday cake. Mrs. DeCubellis has been with Mr. Imerson since 1986, at both Gulf and Ridgewood. She began her career in the school system at Cypress Elementary in 1973 and then worked at Ridgewood before coming to Gulf in 1991. Her 75th birthday was officially yesterday.
