Tropicana speech contest winners

LAND O' LAKES, April 6, 2006. -- Two Gulf students won first place trophies in the Tropicana Speech Contest held today at the school district office. Bailey Logan (left) won 1st place in the "To Entertain" category and Christy Jones won 1st place in the "To Inform" category. It's the first time Gulf High School has won two first place trophies at the district competition. Both are freshmen in Gulf's PIB program. [Photo by Tina Wallace]
