Longtime Coach Jerry Young is honored

GULF HIGH SCHOOL, Nov. 3, 2006. -- Coach Jerry Young, now in his 33rd year at Gulf, was honored at the Land O'Lakes football game tonight. In the above picture, Coach Young poses with some of the former players he has coached. In the bottom picture are (left to right): Josh Fields (son of Larry Strickland), John Palasky (son of Scott Palasky, and Shawn Williamson. Coach Young joined the Gulf faculty in July 1974. Gulf is the only school at which he has taught.
