Pasco County Mathematics Contest

WIREGRASS RANCH HIGH SCHOOL, April 18, 2007—Here are some pictures from Pasco County's annual math contest, which was held this year at the new Wiregrass Ranch High School in Wesley Chapel. Students from each of the middle and high schools in the county participated. Students pictured below received certificates today; they will receive trophies later.


Left: Alice Chang is congratulated by Pasco County Mathematics Supervisor Jill Nielsen and former Supervisor John Geiger.
She placed first individually in Precalculus (and placed first last year in Algebra II).
Right photo: the Gulf Precalculus team finished second among the high schools in the county. They are Denn Auza,
