A big donation for Total Sound

Charlee Flatt

GULF HIGH SCHOOL, Oct. 12, 2007.—Charlee Flatt (left) presents a check for $1200 to Amy Riddle for Gulf High School's choral department while Mr. Imerson looks on. Mr. Flatt is a member of the group the Travis Redfish Project, which hosted "A Mid Summers Night Artist Showcase Charity Event" to benefit the Gulf High choral program on June 22-23. The event also featured three other local bands, Muddy Creek, Bard -4- Life, and Lost and Found. It took place at Jilly's Lounge and Sports Bar. Mr. Flatt, who was a member of the Gulf High class of 1983, was the bass player for Total Sound when he attended GHS. Mrs. Riddle said she expected to use the money to buy sound equipment for Total Sound, which currently uses borrowed equipment.
