Graduation to be held off-campus this year

GULF HIGH SCHOOL, April 16, 2007—In a letter to parents dated today, Mr. Imerson announced that the graduation ceremony for the Class of 2007 will be held at the EpiCentre, an auditorium which is part of Calvary Chapel Worship Center at 6825 Trouble Creek Rd. in New Port Richey. According to Mr. Imerson, the move away from the campus is due to possible construction in the Activity Center. It's believed that this is the first time since 1966 that a Gulf High School graduation has taken place off-campus. That year, graduation was held at First Methodist Church.

Normally, graduation is in the Activity Center, which is filled to capacity.
