GULF HIGH SCHOOL, April 12, 2007.—April
Kelley, who heads the Gulf High School Guidance Department, has been
selected the Outstanding Guidance Counselor for 2007 for Pasco County.
Mr. Imerson informed the faculty of her award in a memo yesterday. He
wrote, “This is a wonderful recognition for all of the efforts
Mrs. Kelley has made on behalf of so many GHS students and families.
She certainly is most deserving of this recognition!”
Mrs. Kelley is the counselor for Gulf students whose
last names begin with Sk through Z. Her other responsibilities include
the Florida Bright Futures Scholarship Program. She is also the
Scholarship Coordinator. Mrs. Kelley has been at Gulf continuously
since 1987, but also was here from 1980 to 1982. Her husband, Ron, owns
