Road trip

Gulf High School baseball coaches Shaun Wiemer and Dan Fagan took a trip to Crestwood, Ill., to watch volunteer Gulf coach Billy Phillips pitch for the Windy City Thunderbolts. Phillips, a 2001 graduate of River Ridge High School, is in his second season with the Thunderbolts, a member of the independent Frontier League.
