Gulf NJROTC unit takes first place at Orlando

ORLANDO, Jan. 27, 2007 — Gulf's NJROTC unit took first place overall in a drill competition at William R. Boone High School today. Sixteen schools from around Florida participated. Gulf placed in 9 out of 11 events, giving Gulf High 1st Place in Military Drill, 2nd Place in Physical Fitness and 1st Place overall. Gulf brought home 12 trophies. Congratulations to Lt. Wysocki, Chief Rodriguez, and the entire NJROTC unit, which will travel this weekend to Flanagan High School in Pembroke Pines to compete again. The photos below are by Kathy Debow.
