 Diving well dedicated to Michael RoweNEW PORT RICHEY, Aug. 22, 2007—The diving well at the New Port Richey Recreation Center was dedicated to the memory of Michael David Rowe, a Gulf High School 2001 graduate who was killed in action in Iraq in 2006. Mike was a four-year letterman on the Gulf diving team. Among those pictured are Mike's widow Rebecca, Mike's daughter he never was able to see, Mike's father David, and Gulf High School Principal Thomas Imerson. A 2006 Tampa Tribune article is here.
