Pasco County Math Contest

RASMUSSEN COLLEGE, April 2, 2008—Gulf junior Alice Chang won first place in Calculus and sophomore Cody Johnson won second place in Precalculus at the Pasco County Mathematics Contest today. Both are students in Gulf's IB program. It was Alice's third consecutive first-place finish in the annual contest. She won first place last year in Precalculus and first place in 2006 in Algebra II. She did not attend public schools in previous years. In the team rankings, Gulf's Geometry team finished second and our Calculus team finished third among the Pasco County high schools.  Here are some pictures.
