Traditional Dish Essay

GULF HIGH SCHOOL, Aug. 29, 2008.—Many kudos to Mrs. Fuss and Mrs. Wink’s first period class while “literacy in action” was displayed. The entire class created individual essays on their traditional “dish” and then presented not only their essay but their “dish” to the class. This awesome project infused before, during, and after reading strategies. Introductions, background information, research, conclusions etc. were displayed throughout this innovative experience. Hats off to Mrs. Fuss’s junior English class!! Junior English students transformed into this youth empowerment experiences enhances cultural diversity. —Submitted by Mrs. Mudry.
