Gulf student runs a triathlon

GULF HIGH SCHOOL, May 5, 2008. — Michael Johnson, a junior at GHS, ran a triathlon yesterday. He participated in the TriAmerican 2008 National Triathlon Series Tour in Charlotte Harbor. He did the short course, which consisted of a 1 K swim, a 30 K bike ride, and an 8 K run. He was the division winner in his age group. Michael plans another triathlon soon.
