Thomas Myers, conductor

GULF HIGH SCHOOL, April 4, 2008.—Senior Thomas Myers, who is the band captain and low reed section leader for the GHS Band, participated recently with the GHS Concert Band at their annual Music Performance Assessment as a student conductor. Thomas was selected through an audition process and prepared a piece with the Concert Band. Following the band's sightreading process, Thomas conducted for a judge who awarded him with the top rating of 'Superior'. He received an 'A' in every category and many compliments from the judge.
