NROTC scholarship winners

GULF HIGH SCHOOL, Dec. 4, 2008.—Cheryl Jennett, Executive Officer, GHS NJROTC, and Jamie McCullough, who is in the IB program, have been awarded Naval ROTC scholarships worth up to $180,000 at the school of their choice. Both students have been accepted to a number of universities, but are awaiting word from the University of Florida on acceptance. It is the university of choice for both. The NROTC scholarship award is based on high school GPA, SAT/ACT score, community service, and high school extra curricular program participation. Congratulations to both students on this fabulous award!
