Mr. Knobl named Secondary Principal of the Year

Dec. 18, 2008. — Steve Knobl, who is in his first year as principal of Gulf High School, has been selected as Secondary
Principal of the Year. He is one of seven administrators who are winners in their categories
and who will attend the annual Education Celebration held by the Pasco Education Foundation
on Jan. 24, 2009. Three of the administrators—Mr. Knobl, Ken Miesner, Principal of Richey
Elementary, and Terry Rhum, Director of Employee Relations—have been named finalists for the
Administrator of the Year award, which will be announced at that event. Mr. Knobl stated that
his selection, which was made by a vote of his peers, would not have been possible without
“our tremendous staff and our outstanding student body.”
