Toothbrushes for El Salvador

GULF HIGH SCHOOL, June 13, 2008.—Gulf freshman and Interact member Wes Lanpher, who had signed up for a one-week summer missions trip with S.O.S. Ministries to El Salvador, wanted to take something useful to the people there. He asked Miss Bigley, sponsor of the Interact Club, to lead a campaign to collect toothbrushes for needy people in this Central American country. A simple idea turned into a wonderful opportunity for outreach. Gulf High students stepped up to this challenge and donated 1,350 toothbrushes.
