New Port Richey honors Patricia Haynes

NEW PORT RICHEY, Jan. 18, 2005 -- New Port Richey Mayor Dan Tipton read a proclamation tonight designating January 20 Patricia L. Haynes Day in New Port Richey.

Mrs. Haynes, one of our assistant principals, has been at Gulf since 1984. She retires on that day.

In the proclamation, the Mayor says, "I urge all citizens of the city to thank her for her many years of dedication to the education of students of our community and to also recognize her contributions to the Holiday Rotary."

Some pictures taken tonight are below.

Mr. Imerson sprung for a limousine to take the administrators to dinner and to the city council meeting.
The limo ride and the proclamation of Patricia L. Haynes Day came as a surprise to Mrs. Haynes.
