GULF HIGH SCHOOL, Jan. 21, 2005. -- Gulf girls basketball coach Mike Quarto proclaimed today Tiara Cook Day, as he and Assistant Principal Thomas Brochu honored her before the start of the basketball game tonight.

Tiara -- who is only a junior -- scored her 1,000th career point on January 6 in the game against Wesley Chapel.
