Gulf students win athletic excellence awards

Gulf High School students and staff were recognized by the Tampa Tribune at the Excellence in Athletics awards ceremony on May 14, 2002, at Heritage Springs Country Club.
They are:

Melissa Dattoli, Runner of the Year, Girls Cross Country
Joe Phillips, Player of the Year, Boys Basketball
Dean Lofton, Coach of the Year, Girls Cross Country
Alex Maric, Player of the Year, Boys Soccer
Travis DeWalt, Coach of the Year, Wrestling
