Patricia Haynes honored by Rotary Foundation

Mrs. Haynes GULF HIGH SCHOOL, July 4, 2003 - Gulf High School Assistant Principal Patricia Haynes was named a Rotary Foundation Paul Harris Fellow at the officer installation banquet of the Holiday Rotary Club on June 21. The banquet was held at Cypress Run Country Club in Tarpon Springs.

She received a commemorative certificate, a Paul Harris Fellow pin, and a medallion.

The certificate reads, "Patricia Haynes is hereby named a Paul Harris Fellow in appreciation of tangible and significant assistance given for furtherance of better understanding and friendly relations among peoples of the world."

Paul Harris Fellow recognition is The Rotary Foundation's way of expressing its appreciation for a substantial contribution to its humanitarian and educational programs. It is named for Paul Harris, a Chicago lawyer who started Rotary International with three business associates in 1905.

Mrs. Haynes has been a Holiday Rotarian since about 1992. In 1998-99 she was named Rotarian of the Year. She has also been a director, as Chair of Vocational Services.
