GULF HIGH SCHOOL, Oct. 25, 2005. -- Kimberlee Gabourel has recently joined the Gulf faculty. She is teaching Biology and Integrated
Science. She is the latest of several teachers who were authorized after the start of the school year because of
the increased student population and class size legislation in Florida.
Ms. Gabourel has a B. S. degree in Environmental Science from USF and an M. S. degree in Environmental Science and Policy and Transportation Engineering, also from USF. She was born in Belize. She attended high school at St. Catherine's Academy in Belize City and also attended St. John's Junior College in Belize. She taught at St. Catherine's Academy in Belize before coming to the United States in 1996. Her interests including reading and running cross country and track. She is scheduled to run her first marathon later this month in Washington, D. C. Her athleticism may come in handy, as Ms. Gabourel is one of our "floaters" -- she teaches in a different classroom each period. |
