Administrators meet with students this week

GULF HIGH SCHOOL, Aug. 31, 2004 -- Administrators are meeting with students all this week to get the year off to a good start.

At the meeting held in the bandroom in period 2 today, Mr. Imerson introduced the other staff members and talked about his goals for the school year.

Mr. Brochu talked about clubs and fund-raising policies, among other topics. Dr. Gallagher talked about academic affairs, including requirements for graduation. Mrs. Haynes quizzed students on their knowledge of material in the Student Planner, and stressed the procedure for obtaining an excused absence. Deputy Spitzer, the School Resource Officer, gave students advice on how to stay out of trouble.
