GULF HIGH SCHOOL, May 12, 2005. -- Gulf's Norberto Navarro was recently selected as baseball player of the year in the Sunshine Athletic Conference. The versatile player normally catches, but has also pitched and played third base and outfield this year. The photo at right shows Navarro as a little leaguer in Boston.
