Preparing for IB

GULF HIGH SCHOOL, Sept. 14, 2005 - Rosie Browning, a mentor for the International Baccalaureate North America program, visited Gulf High School today. Mrs. Browning assists schools around the country in the process of obtaining approval for an International Baccalaureate diploma program. She is also the coordinator of the IB program at Fort Myers High School. Gulf began an pre-IB program for ninth graders at the start of the 2005-06 school year. Mrs. Browning met with administrators, teachers, and students involved in Gulf's pre-IB program, and she toured the campus. We took a few pictures of their meeting this morning in the conference room.

In the first photo, Mrs. Browning poses for the camera with Mr. Imerson, the principal of Gulf High School
and Dr. Lepley, the assistant principal of Gulf High who oversees the pre-IB program.
