Students prepare for the PSAT
GULF HIGH SCHOOL, Oct. 6, 2004. Many of the eleventh graders scheduled to take the PSAT/NMSQT attended a PSAT prep workshop
yesterday and today. The workshop was designed to acquaint students with the test and offer test-taking tips.
Ms. Winslow hosted the session in room 256 yesterday, and Ms. Catton
did the session today. PSAT/NMSQT stands for Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test. It measures critical
reading skills, math problem-solving skills, and writing skills.
