Gulf wins 2003 Florida School Recognition Award

GULF HIGH SCHOOL, Oct. 9, 2003. -- Rep. Heather Fiorentiono congratulated GHS Principal Thomas Imerson today for the Florida School Recognition Award which Gulf High School has earned.

The award, which was established by the state legislature, is based on improved academic performance by Gulf students. With the award comes a grant of approximately $140,000.

Mrs. Fiorentino represents part of Pasco County in the state House of Representatives.
