 Honored by the College Board GULF HIGH SCHOOL, Nov. 1, 2005. -- Gulf Principal Mr. Imerson and Assistant Principal Dr. Gallagher congratulated Ernesto Valdes today for being selected as a Scholar in the College Board's National Hispanic Recognition Program, based on his combined verbal, math, and writing skill scores on the PSAT/NMSQT and his high GPA. The College Board's National Hispanic Recognition Program was initiated in 1983 to identify outstanding Hispanic high school students and to share information about these academically well-prepared students with subscribing colleges and universities. Mr. Imerson said that Ernesto is the first Gulf High School student to win this honor. |
