Pasco ETV video is shot at Gulf

GULF HIGH SCHOOL, April 16, 2004 -- Gulf High School Media Center personnel and Mr. Imerson appeared in a video production shot at Gulf today.

The program, which will be broadcast on the Pasco ETV channel, explains how students can access specialized web sites on the Internet either through the Gulf High School Media Center or the Pasco County Library System web site. The sites may require a password and user name which the Media Center provides.

Students who have a Pasco County library card have free access to on-line help from teachers in the various academic areas through tutor.com. Without the library card, students would need to pay an hourly fee to use tutor.com.

Gulf students will have an opportunity to sign up for a free Pasco County library card at school next week.

The instructional video is expected air on Pasco ETV at 10 a.m. and 6:30 p.m. on April 22 and 23. In western Pasco County, Pasco ETV is broadcast on Bright House Cable channel 20.
