![]() New teacher joins the Gulf faculty
GULF HIGH SCHOOL, Oct. 27, 2004 -- Virginia (Ginny) Miller joined the Gulf High School faculty today. She will be teaching
in the dropout prevention (MAP) program.
Ms. Miller replaces Mrs. LaBarbara, who switched to the English department when Ms. Norris retired. Ms. Miller most recently taught at Marchman Technical Education Center, beginning there in February 2000. She is a member of the New Port Richey City Council, having been first elected in April 1998. Her final term on the city council runs until April 9, 2005. Ms. Miller holds a B. A. degree from Northeastern Illinois University in Chicago. She was born in Park Ridge, Illinois. She and her husband have one child. They moved to Florida in 1990. |
